What's your favourite breakfast meal? Mine falls with Eggs Benedict, Filipino Breakfast (fried rice, tocino, longganiza and fried egg), Bacon and Pancakes, Toast and Butter and Cold Pasta (it's weird but it's really good). I'm not a fan of Omelette. I actually want it once in a blue moon and today must be a blue moon. Suddenly, found myself in the kitchen making some Chinese Sausage Omelette. This is one of those easy recipes that anyone can whip at home.
Ingredients
4 pcs Medium Eggs
2 pcs Chinese Sausage (King's brand)
1 Small Onion (sliced)
2 Medium Tomato (diced)
Dash of Black Pepper
Dash of Basil
Dash of Rosemary
Dash of Cayenne Powder
Step 1: In a pan, Simmer/ Cook Chinese Sausage in 1/2 cup water. Wait until natural oil comes out. Season with Black Pepper, Basil, Rosemary and Cayenne Powder. Sautee. Add Onions and Tomatoes. Let cook for 1 minute.
Step 2: In a bowl, thoroughly beat Eggs. Pour on Sauteed Chinese Sausage in the pan. Just like making pancakes, wait for eggs to soaked in before flipping it.
Step 3: Cut according to desired portion. Place in a plate, add Cream Cheese on top (optional), garnished with dried spices (optional) - pair with toasted bread.
