Beef Wraps had also been a favourite dish and I have always wanted to make my own wraps since I learn it from my Turkish friends a few years ago but never had the courage to do so, because flour and my skills don't really jive too well but lately, it has changed. Sharing below the steps on how I came up with this delish recipe.
Ingredients
Wraps
1 cup Flour
1 cup Milk
2 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tbsp Dried Basil (optional)
Mix Flour, Salt and Baking Powder in a bowl. Add in Milk and Oil. Mix well until sticky. Add more flour to have bread like consistency. Knead thinly and form into desired shape.
1/2 kg Beef (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
Dash of Black Pepper
1 Tomato (thinly sliced)
1 Onions (thinly sliced)
1/2 Cucumber (thinly sliced)
6 pcs Lettuce
3 tbsp Greek Yogurt, Add a dashed of Powdered Garlic and Salt to enhance the taste.
Step 1: In a medium pan, sautee Beef in Oil, dashed with Black Pepper and add Soy Sauce. Cook until Beef is tender.
Step 2: In a medium - large pan, place shaped wraps and cook until both sides are browned.
Step 3: In a plate, place wraps, add in Lettuce, Beef, Cucumbers, Onions, Tomatoes and top with Greek Yogurt.
It's a really fun and easy recipe. Give it a try :)
