Traveling During Pandemic

Happiest New Year everyone! This entry is tad late for the New Years and the Chinese New Year. Here's to praying that most of you are in good spirits and has started 2021 right. As for me, I did my first travel of the year to Cebu, not for tourism but for medical purposes and some tax related appointments.

Traveling these days is a lot of fun --- not. It's a little stressful and overwhelming. Gone are the days where traveling to places is as easy as buying a ticket online, packing your bags and just being at the airport before boarding.

Times are hard and with all the new restrictions and safety protocols, it feels as if we are traveling abroad with all the papers we need to present instead of feeling chill to be coming home to a very familiar place. I will be listing down below the requirements that my mother and I needed to present to be able to travel to Cebu.

Requirements: From Davao City to Cebu City

CONFIRMED TICKET BOOKING, we flew via Philippines Airlines. Confirmed ticketing bookings will be presented to your barangay officer to show that you are traveling to and from this city and so.

BARANGAY CERTIFICATE, to certify that you are fit to travel and that you are not a suspected or probable CoVid19 case.

TRAVEL AUTHORITY/ POLICE CLEARANCE, to certify that you are allowed to leave and travel from and to Davao City and to your destinations.

LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE, this is to certify that the barangay where you are headed is allowing you to enter their border and stay with a protocol of a 14 day home quarantine. We are fortunate enough to own a house in Cebu with relatives who made the request on our behalf. We were given the Letter of Acceptance only after we sent a copy of our Barangay Certificate and Travel Authority/ Police Clearance.

ONLINE HEALTH DECLARATION FORM, this is an online form from PAL that you have to fill up prior to traveling which will generate a QR Code for them to track your health declaration. You have to save this via your email for easy access during airport checks.

TRAZE APP, is a mandatory app that you have to have prior to traveling. You can download the app and register in it for easier and hassle free travel during check ins.

Requirements: From Cebu City to Davao City

CONFIRMED TICKET BOOKING, again to present that you are flying on this certain dates.

BARANGAY CERTIFICATE, this is to certify that you have undergone a 14 day home quarantine prior to your travels and that you are not a person under monitoring or person under investigation.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATE, to certify that you are fit to travel with no influenza like illness and no restrictions. So, you have to undergo a medical check up by a physician from the municipality that you belonged.

CERTIFICATE FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE,  this is to certify that you are allowed to travel outside of the border of the municipality that you live. This certificate is only given once you have the above mentioned certificates at hand.

TRAVEL AUTHORITY/ POLICE CLEARANCE, the travel authority allows you to travel and be granted access in different checkpoints and borders of the municipality you're leaving and of the city you will travel to. Only given once you have all the other certificates at hand.

LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE,  just like the requirement of Cebu, we needed a letter indicating that we are allowed to stay in our point of destination. It just so happen that we also own a house here in Davao. So my father made the request for a letter of acceptance but only after we sent him a copy of all the certificates that we have acquired.

RT PCR TEST, as part of the safety protocol and requirement of Davao City upon entering - my mother and I needed to present a negative swab test. Requirement is 72 hrs prior to flying. But I would suggest getting the test done 2 days before since it takes some time for the result to come in - around 12-18hrs after swabbing.

ONLINE HEALTH DECLARATION, same as the online portal you need to access for PAL passengers prior to flying.

DAVAO QR Code, if you're from Davao City then this comes handy because all of us has been using this at the start of the year and late last year. For those coming in to Davao City, it is best to register for the Davao QR Code since this is a requirement in most establishments for entry. NO QR CODE, NO ENTRY.

TRAZE APP, same app as I mentioned above. This is now mandatory and is valid for 3 years.

DAVAO CITY HEALTH DECLARATION, before entering Davao City, same as with the PAL portal of health declaration - Davao City has it's own portal which generates QR Code for easier access to your data once you arrived at the Davao City Airport.

Woah! Writing all the requirement made me feel exhausted and that's how I felt the entire time. We flew to Cebu to get a second opinion on my swollen left leg as well as do the PET Scan which is not available in Davao but thinking about going through all the paperworks is dreading.

They may seem easy and very accessible but the idea of having to take a queue and wait for minutes to hours to get the certificates is a little difficult considering social distancing and all those safety protocols but this is now the new normal which we all have to get used to. Also some of the documents are charged with a minimal fee which is below 100php but the rest if free of charge.

As of writing, some of the protocols have already changed or been updated but as the saying goes,"if there's a will, there's a way." If traveling if your cup of tea then these requirements are nothing new. Plane tickets and hotels are obviously on big discounts now. I don't promote tourism just yet but hey, if you have the budget and if you're itching to fly out then do it the new normal way - safe, healthy and filled with precautions with your face masks, face shield and sanitizers aka alcohol.

With that sharing a photo of me at the Plantation Bay Resort and Spa in Cebu. Reminiscing my brief see, sea and relax escapade. Can't wait to go back soon when Martijn comes for a vacation.

Brique

Finally, after months of wanting to try out Brique, I had the chance to try out their dishes and it didn't fail me at all. Located at the Garden Rooftop of Ayala Center Cebu lies this resto/cafe that offers exciting platters that's sure to satisfy anyone's graving and the place is cozy too :)
Spinach Gorgonzola Dip, to die for. I like the salty taste which lingers to your mouth after every bite. If you're on a diet - you'll do good with this starter.
Sunrise, orange and lemon fresh juice.
Hungarian Sausage, the very traditional served mashed potato on the side - gives you that European vibe.
Lamb Adobo, surprisingly good.  I love the plate presentation for this one. Love the garlic topping, I think it's very creative. The rice was fried well and the lamb was nom! It's a MUST TRY.
Island Breeze, banana watermelon mint leaves smoothie. Taste really good but have to say it's better paired with brunch dishes :)
Eggplant Fries with Anchovy Aioli Dip, I'm seeing eggplant in a whole new level on this one. Probably the most satisfyingly healthy substitute for regular fries. The dipping was absolutely tasty. It's a MUST TRY.
Mizo Glazed Salmon, topped with gorgeous onion rings. I'd say this is hotel like dish and presentation. It tasted so good and the Salmon was cooked perfectly. It's a MUST TRY.

All in all, it was a great experience. I love the dishes that we had and I'm looking forward to dining back. Price wise, it's worth it. I like the ambiance but have to say, it does get crowded on weekends, which I would suggest going in upon opening or make some reservations to avoid waiting. Lava by Fudge (SM City Seaside)

I have been a fan of Lava by Fudge for some time now. I like their cafe settings, their friendly service crew and their cakes - let me just say it this way - I love all the dishes that they serve. They're known for their Lava Cakes but there's more to their specialty and with every bite - I assure you it's really good.
Quesadillas, I love how it was grilled and presented. The dough was textured perfectly as well as the sauce.
Chili Fries, this is a personally favourite. I'm a lover of potatoes and this one right there is amazingly good. I love the chili con carne sauce and the melting cheese topped on real baked/fried potatoes. It's a MUST TRY for me.
Cheesecake, the choices for cakes are endless. If you want chocolate all the way - they have it or if you prefer the neutral looking colours of plain ones - they also have it.
Original Lava Cake, it never gets old. It's like eating it for the first time even though you've been digging it for more than a year. It also comes in other flavours but I prefer this one.

I love my Lava by Fudge experience everything. Their coffees are well blended as well. It's like a hotel mixture with a flare. Apart from the dishes that I posted, don't forget to try out their Lasagna which is meaty and cheesy in one, Tuna Bagel for the health conscious, Pasta Carbonara for the pasta lovers like me, the Chicken Curry Pie which is bursting with good flavours and all those other dishes in their menu which I think I've tried mostly but have not photographed. Price is average and ambiance is really good. For more check out their Facebook page via https://web.facebook.com/Fudge-Restaurant-131552172809/

PS for Christmas, also look out for their Fruit Cake. They have branches at Ayala Center Cebu, Banilad, SM City Cebu and SM City Seaside and to which ever branch you choose, be assured that you'll be greeted by friendly staff.<3 p="">

Gusto Mare

A few months ago, I've written an entry about Gusto Urban Cafe + Wine Bar and had mentioned a whole loads of good stuff because they're serving really good stuff. The cafe that I blogged about is at the heart of the Cebu and now we're heading down south - SRP for their other branch - Gusto Mare. I've never been into a beach themed restaurant before and have to admit - the interiors, views, vibes and food was fantastic.
*They have a small function area for goods who prefers a little private hang out chill.
Caramel Cheesecake, talk about putting cheesecake into a whole new level. The taste was authentically different from the usual cheesecakes we're used to - the caramel taste gives it an extra boast of caffeine like texture.
*The decors heading to the restroom til the toilet itself was beautiful. It had that home vibe by the beach which I'm pretty sure a lot of people envied and would want for their own place.
Scaloppine, is a thinly sliced pork with coating paired with rice (placed in a funky dish ware) - and I have to say, it was super delish.
*The hanging lights were made from steel buckets, it was very DIY feels and it looks really cute.
*The cake corner was lined with sweets treats, to which people like me would end up drooling. I also tried their Chocolate Eclair and it was yummy.
Ravioli, it is by far my favourite pasta from a local restaurant here in Cebu. The authenticity of the flavours was great and how the pasta was made was perfection. It's got the Italian vibe.
*The view is spectacular, specially during day time.  I suggest people should drop by during lunch or past lunch and have the option to stay indoor or outdoor to see such view.
Pesce Alforno, is baked whole Lapu-lapu fish topped with mashed potatoes and paired with rice and again, it is delicious. Perfectly baked and the rice is also seasoned well.

All in all, I love the Gusto Mare experience. By far in both branches, I couldn't complain on anything. Everything is neat, the food is great, the servers are fantastic and the place is superbly decorated in a very relax way. Price is a bit pricey on certain dishes and on some bottles of wines but it's worth every penny. I highly recommend checking out any of their branches around Cebu for that laid back, intimate experience after a day's work or on weekends with love ones.

Birdseed Breakfast Club + Cafe

There's a new Breakfast Club and Cafe in town and it's one of the neatest and inviting cafe I've been into - Birdseed Breakfast Club + Cafe offers more than just coffee and breakfast meals. It offers an ambiance of home with good music and interiors.<3 p="">
Eggs Benedict, really good eggs benny and the sauce was delish. Hotel like quality if I may say.
Green Tea Latte
French Toast, with fruits that taste so good - feels like home.
Beef Tapa, rice was good and the beef was perfection.
Salmon Silog, so good and good and good.<3 font="">

Overall, it was really a good experience. Their place is located at Axis Building Escario and it opens at 7a. Price ranges from 35php to 360php. Plus, they have the quirkiest restroom I've seen. For more, please check their Facebook page https://web.facebook.com/BirdseedBreakfastClub/

Ramen Sora

As breakfast cafes and coffee shops boom in Cebu, so does the Ramen craving. Officially tried Ramen Sora at the new opened Robinson's Galleria Cebu and was thrilled to know that their Ramen are perfectly seasoned.
What we had was Salmon Sashimi, Tokutaruo Gyoza, Japanese Fried Rice, Tsukune with poached egg, Pork Belly, Deluxe Sora Ramen (Spicy Miso) and Deluxe Sora Ramen (Spicy Shio). I have to say, all these dishes were good. I love the pork cuts - they were juicy and full of flavours. I just didn't like the lighting of the place but the experience on food was good and I'm looking forward to dining back. Price ranges from 100php up and they also offer rice toppings, salads, sushi and Japanese beers.
A closer look of their Deluxe Sora Ramen (Spicy Miso)

Abaca Baking Company

There's a new bakery in town that has been making headlines for their delish breakfast servings and good tasting breads of all sorts and finally I got a chance to dine in a few weeks ago and I have to say, it was worth the wait to drop by and try out their limitless choices.
What I love about the place is the relax homey ambiance and smell of freshly baked breads and the interiors were really beautiful. The personalised painted menu board, the artsy paintings and wooden tables - gives it that New Yorker - European Vibe. Apart from breads and pastries, they also sell some spices at good reasonable prices. Price ranges from a 100php up. We tried, The Corned Beef Hash, Hand Rolled Bagel with Salmon and Crossroads American Omelette (which I forgot to take a photo of). Have to say I really enjoyed everything. Looking forward to trying out their other offers soon.

Gusto Urban Cafe + Wine Bar

Cebu is officially a city where one will never go hungry or has no reason to be hungry at all with all the new cafes and restaurants that are popping out of nowhere. Gusto Urban Cafe + Wine Bar has been around but like always - I always check in late on these gastronomical places. Good thing their Cebu Business Park Branch opens at 7a and I got to dine in without the hassle of a crowd. And seriously, I love the interiors and the ambiance - it's a perfect place for coffee meet ups or brunch.

Just look at all the customised details of the interiors. It's so cozy and organised. I love the idea of hanging the wines on the wall and the wood meets concrete designs. Price for their dishes are average and I have to commend them for really nice servers. I think what really makes up a good restaurant is when they have staff who considers the place as their own - making sure the customers are well pampered and not to forget - they were all smiles.

What I had was Bacon Steak Breakfast and my dad ordered a dish which I forgot to take a photo of and a Salami Panini which was to die for and my mom also ordered another sandwich which again I forgot to take a snap of but was also delish. What makes their sandwiches special are the kind of cheeses they use. And for a cheese lover like me - this place is heaven. I like how they present the sandwiches. I think that they should have made it a uniform thing to serve the dishes in wooden plates and stuff but over all it was totally worth trying. Apart from hot and cold drinks, they also serve fine wines by glass or by bottle for a very reasonable price. Price ranges from 150php up.

Leaving you with this emoterang photo :D Looking forward to dining back soon. For more details, check their Facebook pagehttps://www.facebook.com/GustoUrbanCafe/?fref=ts

Summer Sunsets

Sunsets. Why I love sunsets? Well, they're pretty special when seen/being watched by the sea/beach. It is simply stunning. The colours are stunning and I prefer sunsets over sunrise. Here are a few snaps that I took this summer. Taken a few weeks ago at a beach in Mactan Cebu and at my very own municipality of Liloan.
Here's a summary of the snaps I took but will be sharing it individual below :)
"Serenity"
"Man and his playground"
"Vast"

"Take me away"
"Manginhas ta"
"Steady"
"Reflection"
"Straight ahead"

Isn't it beautifully captured? I have to thank my mobile phone for this. Below are photos from the municipality that I live in.
I have crossing this bridge since I was in HS and had always been captivated by the view specially now that it has been developed and enhance. Summer is one the many seasons I love simply when it's here in the Philippines and sunsets are always a sight to behold.

Borussia German Restaurant

Hey Hi! Long overdue entry coming in a bit. This posting was supposed to be posted a month ago but didn't have much time, more like I was being lazy in going online but nonetheless, happy to be writing about this beautiful German Restaurant just North of Cebu. Borussia German Restaurant gives you that good feel relax vibe with it's beautiful garden and chill down ambiance. The food is also fabulous since it is personally prepared by the owner.
Your view from the dining area. Really relaxing after a long drive. The place is located in Sogod Bogo which happens to be a convenient pit stop if you're travelling to Bantayan Island or to other Northern Cebu Provinces.
We had Callos with Rice, Beef Lasagna and Sausage with Mashed Potato. The food is great and the price is reasonable. They also have this special Lemongrass Drink which is amazing which I forgot to take a photo of.

Borussia German Restaurant is more than just a place to dine in, you can also rent one of their cottages (house settings) and cool down on their pool area. What I love about the place is the home feel of it. The inside of the restaurant is a living room converted into dining area for customers (once again I forgot to take a snap - just saw it online). The entire place is also surrounded by private houses which makes your stay more secure. And to top it off - the restrooms are crazy clean and it smells good and I love that they're using towelettes instead of tissue papers for their hand washing area. Very eco friendly :) For more, you can check their Facebook page

Parilya

There's a new restaurant that's making some serious fuzz around town because of it's wonderful ambiance and food that's worth every cent - Parilya is the newest baby of Cafe Laguna Group which is conveniently situated at the South Road Project Cebu. And if you're into seafoods and other Asian - Filipino cuisines, this is the place to be. They are currently on their soft opening so the menus and decors are not that all out just yet :)
Clam Soup, tasted really fresh and the soup was perfect. They also offer other soup dishes on their menu for your tastebuds.
Kinilaw (raw seafoods soaked in vinegar and spices), what was unique about it, is that they added a piece of Itlog Maalat (salted eggs) which made the taste more intriguing.
Puso ng Saging (banana heart), it was just the way I've imagined having it. This is basically sauteed banana heart (it's a vegetable) with spices and a hint of coconut milk in it.
Rice, which was wrapped in banana leaves. They also offer other options for rice orders.
Guso (assorted seaweeds), call me whatever you want to call me but this particular dish is a personal favourite. I could totally live eating this in a life time :D
Paella Negra, I'm a fan of Paella just not this one but the taste was great (took only a spoon to avoid getting my teeth and mouth into black) Hahaha but I kid around that I'll order this dish if ever I go on a date in this place, just to check if my date really likes me for me :D
King Prawns, grilled to perfection, I love that the skin falls off when I indulge on the meat.
Grilled Squid, love how average the servings is which makes it easier to devour.
Grilled Chorizo, really spiced to perfection.
Lechon Belly, you have to believe me when I say this dish is heaven. The skin is perfectly crunchy and the meat - just perfect.
Lemon Iced Tea, I love their glasses for every drinks.
Crab Salad, for the health conscious and are on diet - this may suit you :)
Buko Salad, I love the serving and the jar they used for and the taste was also nomnomnom.
All in all, I love the Parilya Experience I had. Looking forward to coming back once their fully open for business. I'm curious to try the Seafoods Platter or was it the Barbecue Platter. What I really love about the place is that it's all neat in colour schemes and the sight of blue skies and the sea is just captivating. Apart from great dishes, they also offer wines for that date night outs and Filipino delicacies. I'm definitely looking forward to dining back - most likely during lunch cos that view reminds me so much of Greece or somewhere that's not in Cebu :D For more details, check out their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ParilyaPH?fref=ts

Tavolata

The place had been around for two years but was hesitant to go and try out the dishes on their menu and now I wonder what took me so long to go. Tavolata is one of the many restaurants operated by the Abaca Group. I've been to Abaca Resort and Phat Pho and have to admit their food is exquisitely served even if it's the simplest dish - it is prepared and presented with so much flair.
The place is really cozy and has that sophistication. I love the falling/ hanging lights, the long tapestries and the yellow lights all over the place which gives it a feel like its been lighted by candles. It's a two storey resto but with limited seatings, so it's important to come early for lunch or dinner or book a reservation in advance.
I'd like to apologised for the low photo quality but I opted to not use the flash to take these photos.
Mashed Potatoes with Olive Oil, heaven! The taste is just lovely. You can taste the milk and butter on it.
Penna Cotta, the best that I've tasted. The smoothness and thickness of the entire dessert was perfectly crafted.
Fresh Mango Juice, still nothing beats my favourite from Plantation Bay and Resort.
Tavolata Salad, visually good and tastes really nice. I love the salad sauce.
Pappardelle Pasta, their pasta is hand crafted home made and it's amazing. The texture of their pasta is a killer.
Parmesan Chicken, breaded spiced chicken fillet topped with tomatoes and parmesan - the bomb. I love it.
Prosciutto Pizza, a healthy pizza with that home goodness freshness. Another love :)

I'm telling you, everything inside that place is good to the taste buds. Price ranges from a 100php up. For more details check out www.theabacagroup.com/restaurants.html

Jumbo Seafoods and BBQ

I'm a huge fan of seafoods though I am allergic to certain kinds. I think I've written entries about my dine in experiences with restos that offers an assortment of such. Jumbo Seafoods is a Korean owned and managed food place with individual rooms for meetings and a more private dining experience and an open space area for its Acoustic nights. It is conveniently located at Marigondon Cebu.
They basically offer an arraignment of seafoods from Lobstert, Crabs, Prawns, Oysters and Clams. Apart from these delectable food, they also serve usual barbecue meals. Price ranges from 150php up. Fresh seafoods are weighed and are charged according to it's grams. Now, since this place is owned by a Korean, they also offer Sushi, Sashimi packages for groups to attract families and tourists. Oh! I forgot to mention, their toilets are really fancy :) Love it :)

We had Yang Chow Fried, Pineapple Rice (which surprisingly was called as such because it was placed inside a pineapple shell :D), Fresh Oysters, Seafoods Sinigang, Grilled Squid, Grilled Longganisa, Buttered Lobsters and Garlic Chilli Crabs. All of them - FANTASTIC :D Looking at the photos - I feel terribly hungry.

I love the place and I love the food. I like the idea that they provide plastic gloves to eat the food with ease using the hands. I just hope they'll provide some wet tissues next time though :) I also love the private/ individual rooms where we had our meals. Looking forward to trying out their sushis and sashimis next time. For more details or for reservations call them at +63 32 239 6546

Family lunch is always best with them because they always pay for my orders :D And I get to blog about my experience :D

Acacia Grill and Restaurant

Had always passed by and had used their toilets for so many times over the years but never had the time to dine in until recently. Located at the Shoe Expo Center in Carcar City Cebu is a place filled with good ambiance and mouth watering food - mostly grilled :)
We ordered Beef Bulalo, Kinilaw, Grilled Squid, Grilled Tuna Belly, Grilled Pork Belly and French Fries (the only rose among the thorns - haha). Everything was good. So good, it tastes like it was cooked at home by a relative or someone I know. I LOVE IT.
The place is not that big, so if you're planning to take the entire family for lunch, it's better to make a reservations. People usually stop by before heading to Simala Church or after. Price ranges from 100php up.

La Vie Parisienne

Was never a fan of French cuisine, probably because I haven't tried any yet or maybe because their menu is mostly consists of pastries and the only thing I'm familiar with is cheese, wine and croissants :) La Vie Parisienne has been around for some time but going to their main branch in Lahug was and is always out of the way from me or from where I live but good thing they've open a new branch within the four walls of the Ayala Malls.

I am absolutely in love with their interiors - there's always something about that french flare that makes me appreciate neat essentials and white paint paired with light cool colours - it fascinates me. The food is also good. I was confused on which one to order. I love croissants and I love cakes - the place was heaven :)
We had La Mentonnaise Salad, Pasta Carbonara, Hungarian Sausage, Morocco Pizza, Opera Cake and Macaroons. I LOVE Everything :D I'm not being biased on here but the food were all fantastic and I have a personal favourite on their pie department - I think it's called the Coconut Pie or something (forgot the name) - it was impeccably delish.

What an experience. Everything on the menu is perfect for chill and solemn date night moments. They also serve wines with cheese and wine with set meals. Price ranges from a hundred pesos up. Depends on your palette :) For more details check their facbook page www.facebook.com/lavieparisiennecebu
Of course I won't pass on a photo op :D

Famous Belgian Waffles

I personally prefer waffles any time of the day and for the longest time, I have been wanting to try out Famous Belgian Waffles at their SM City Cebu Branch but never had any luck because of the long queue back then.

And finally after months of patiently waiting, I can totally crashed it out on my lists of foods to try. I love their waffle texture - the mix is awesome and I'm a sucker for their Chocolate Cream Cheese serving. Price ranges from 40php to 100php, so it's budget friendly and they also serve Malaysian brewed coffee which taste really good and jives well with their waffles.

They have branches in most major shopping centres in Cebu. For more infos check out, www.facebook.com/FamousBelgianWaffleInCebu :)

Cafe Noriter

There's a not so new coffee shop in town with interiors as cute as daisies - Cafe Noriter Cebu. Have seen, passed by and heard about this place through friends and social media for almost a year but never had the chance to check it out until recently. And words of mouth were exactly correct when they said it was beautiful there.

The place was as I expected it to be. Cute, relaxing and very Korean - Asian - and I love it.
I'm totally digging on the interiors and post its which is all over the place. You can write something and post it anywhere. They will also take some photos of you and post it on their official Facebook page which is really convenient and cool. And they offer free wifi and cute throw pillows and stuffed toys that you could cuddle with while dining :) And they have the non aircon area in the event the place gets too crowded and indoor toilet :)
We had, Java Chip Frappuccino, Mango Smoothie, Cafe Latte, Vanilla Ice Cream with Espresso Coffee and Honey Bread (which I highly recommend - it's their specialty also). The drinks were all good. Almost as good as that the traditional known coffee shops in Cebu that offers that same drink. Price range is from 100 to 200php.

It was definitely a nice place to chill and relax with friends. It has that homey feel, that makes you feel really good. For more, check out their Facebook page www.facebook.com/noriterph

One of the photos that their photographer took of me and my parents. Anyeong! <3 p="">

Fiji Restaurant

Had passed by and seen this restaurant every time my family visits The Plantation Bay Resort and Spa but never had a chance to dine in. I always thought, they were more like a pub kind of place but I was wrong. They actually had some serious nice view of the sea and ambiance so wonderful, made me want to sleep :D
Most of their dishes are seafoods and oriental. Love the interiors which gives it a cool feel, given the most of the customers just got out of water and so.
Appetizer is Bread and Butter. Salmon Sashimi, fresh as nuts - I totally love it and the seaweeds too. Baju Platter, an assortment of seafoods (clamps, shrimps, fish and squid - all grilled), Grilled Salmon with vegetables in ginger sauce, Yakisoba noodles, Pan Fried Fish in sweet and sour sauce and Grilled mixed vegetables. My favourite? I love them all. I specifically love their Salmon dishes. I've dined into other restaurants and have always tried Salmon dishes and so far, theirs is really good.
I don't know about you but I really find, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa's Fresh Mango Juice the best amongst the hotels that I've visited, I really like their preparation for it. And these home made Ice creams are to die for. Strawberry and Peanut Butter home made ice creams - it's a MUST TRY.

All in all - I love in house hotel dining. I love Plantation Bay Resort and Spa. I love every food I've tasted and ordered from all their restaurants inside the resort. If I were a billionaire, I'll probably stay there for a month or so and enjoy their menus :D For more check out, www.plantationbay.com/dining/restaurants/restaurants/#rest2
My constant dine in buddies :D Parents :)
